Army Staff Sgt. Jack M. Martin III, 26, of Bethany, Oklahoma, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group, Fort Lewis, Wash., died September 29th, 2009, in Jolo Island, Philippines, from the detonation of an improvised explosive device. Martin is survived by his wife Ashley Martin, his parents Jack and Cheryl Martin, and siblings Abe, Mandi, Amber and Abi.
Hey everyone! The challenge Nation scavenger hunt/5k on October 9th is getting closer. As of right now me, Jpo, Jenny S, and Justin are doing it. If anyone else would like to participate with Team CFNF let me or Jpo know. There is a Groupon that makes this event $25 per person but that expires Friday. Hope we can get a few more people!

Nothing like a little RX to get ready for the Triathlon on Sunday. Thanks, Brad, for thinking I could do it. Thanks, TJ, for giving me triathlon advice. HAGLER, it was great seeing you today!!! Thank you. Lunchtime heats rocked it. I actually enjoyed today’s workout and deadlifts. Give me deadlifts and push presses and I’m a happy camper. 210 on the deadlifts for 5; trying to stay process driven.

Stringer had me a by a round today, but overall I’m not too disappointed. Cut my Oly short, I was only half way through, to get the workout in, 7rds + 10pps+ 2 kbs Rx. I’ll deadlift tomorrow and complete Oly from today also.
