  1. First and foremost, check out the Alpharetta Revue and News spotlight on CFNF FGB event. There is a picture of Brad and Jim in the middle of the paper.
    Second, great job to Don, Lisa, Jenny, and Hicky at this morning’s workout. Hicky not only lapped everyone but she also did 2 reps of 225lb deadlift.
    Third, if you are not busy, you should come join us for dinner at Longhorn on Mansell around 7:30 to celebrate Jacob’s and Simone’s birthday (16 and 21 respectively). Afterwards, for the 21 and up crowd, some of us will be bar hopping.
    Finally, in addition to the BodyFat Challenge, would anyone be interested in doing a burpee or HERO/GIRLS challenge?
    The burpee challenge is a progressive event where each day you add a burpee to the total until you reach 100 burpees. For example, day 1 – 1 burpee, day 2 – 2 burpees, day 3 -3 burpees, etc.
    The HERO/GIRLS challenge is where you perform a different HERO/GIRL WOD each day until you complete all the workouts. At the end, everyone will have a good baseline of their performance.

  2. Hey. We won’t be making out for the Birthday celebrations, BUT HAVE A GREAT TIME.
    We are headed to Stone Mountain today. No school today. Will probably not make it in later.
    Michael, I am considering the challenges you presented. I hate to miss the daily wod’s but we will see. The burpee thing might be good. I am looking to drop some more weight and thet would only help.

  4. A lot of people are doing the burpee challenge all over the CrossFit community. People seem to get into it.

  5. the burpee thing sounds like a good idea. of course, i say that now… might be thinking differently in a few weeks and i’m doing 78 burpees after a workout πŸ™‚
    it looks doubtful now that i’ll be making it to dinner tonight, but i hope the birthday celebrations are joyous.

Also, as far as my Huskers are concerned I promise you that Nebraska will win this weekend.
