We are gearing up for our next challenge that will begin upon completion of the new space.  It will be in a "Double Elimination" format as follows.

Double Elimination

All competitors start in the winner’s bracket and continue advancing like a single elimination bracket. When a loss occurs for the competitor the first time, they are dropped down to a specific spot in the Losers’ Bracket and continue advancing in the drop down bracket as they win. After losing a second match, the competitor is finished. Winner of the Loser bracket plays the winner of the winner bracket for 2 out of 3 to determine the winner.  Please email bradtrego@att.net to compete.  There will be a $5.00 fee (this may change depending on how many competitors enter) that will go toward a one of a kind custom championship tshirt/hoodie for the winner.

  1. Congratulations Pebbles. First place in the womes open division. There were some strong people there who put up some serious weight. 725 lb squat, 600 lb Bench press and a 725 sumo DL from a man who weighed 180 lbs and was 65 years old. I would guess that %30 of the contestants were between 45 and 65 years old.
Thanks to Jacqueline and Breeze for attending and taking some pictures.
Christy squated 230 lbs and deadlifted 275. She also clearly was the best dressed, sporting a purple shirt and purple knee socks. She was very popular with the judges and competitors.

  2. Pretty sure the second round is suppose to be 24 pull-ups, they just had it wrong on the official page for a while.
Also congrats to Pebbles, sounds like it was a very successful first event!

  3. There will be divisions for the next challenge, Male & Female, Rx & Scaled

  4. Pebbles did a great job. Congratulations!!

  5. what about a tight jean division?

  6. Congrats Pebbles!! Wish I could have been there… and yes GDog.. she definitely appears to be rockin’ that purple.
A big thanks to Justin, JPo, Peaches and Shandy for coming out Sat. night to one of my bands gigs! You guys are awesome.

  7. Pebbles,

Good job Pebbles, awesome result!! Looking forward to seeing you in the gym soon to hear more about it.
26.25 Rx today. It hurt alot and I have no clue how people were going under 20mins on this especially given that this wasn’t the only workout they did this weekend. Crazy!!!!!!!!!

Forgot to say earlier how good the place looks. It’s huge!! Definitely think the Bull’s ASS should be painted on the back side of the wall…that would be class!
