  1. Big Ed, should we call you “Capt. Big Ed”, or “Capt. Ed”?

  2. I want to thank my “other” trainer for all his support and encouragement today!!!

  3. With tomorrow’s fight almost here, I would like to take a moment and extend my support and encouragement to Hicky.
Hicky, you are one of the hardest working athletes I have ever seen. Your record shattering WODs and strong work ethic serve as motivation and competition to us at CFNF.
    Best of luck tomorrow.

  4. Kick some ass Hickey! We’ll all be screaming for you!

  5. At a 139 lbs. I think it is obvious I should go by BigEd.
    Good luck tomorrow night Hicky!
    Go Team Devil Dogs!
I will post later to explain why I chose that name and what it represents.

  6. Well said Michael. My pleasure Nadler. Hicky….just do what I told you and you will be fine….you ROCK!

  7. My only advice from the halls of the great Cobra Kai dojo, “Strike first, Strike hard, no mercy sir!”

  8. Go Team Devil Dogs! Devil Dog is a Marine nickname given to us in WWI by the Germans. During a battle in 1918, one of their soldiers wrote that the Marines they were
fighting were like the the hounds of hell, hence the name “Devil Dogs” was born. This nickname is a badge of honor among Marines and since we are approaching Veteran’s Day, I thought it was appropriate to give our team a military nickname.
I have posted on Team Devil Dogs board the Medal of Honor citation for a man who died in battle serving our country. Read the citation. Then during your WOD if
at any time you feel like slowing down or quitting (like I did today doing the WOD from Wednesday)remind yourself of what he did in his final moments of his life.
Also, all WODs MUST be completed at the CF North Fulton facility in order to get points for our team. If you actually can’t make it to any of the scheduled classes for that day (like myself on the weekends) then you would have to make them up (in other words, doing 2 or 3 WODs in a day)on another day.
Good luck to both teams and I’ll see some of you tomorrow night as we cheer on Hicky.
    Semper Fi, Ed.

  9. All I have to say is GO HICKY!!
