Hello….anyboday out there?
For those of you who don’t know yet, we are having a barbell (deadlift, squat, press) seminar on Sat from 10-noon. The cost is $10/person. A.C. will be instructing as he has been a competitive powerlifter for several years and just completed his barbell cert. Should be very informative and a lot of fun. Hope to see yall here.
Up yours G-dog!
I’m there. Looking forward to it. Brad and Garrett have shown me some of the things they have learned for AC. TREMENDOUSLY helpful and helping me get PRs each week in this Strength Bias Program I am doing. I encourage EVERYONE to try to attend. Your heavy lifts will get better!
Careful Breeze and I may not assist you when you are attempting to Max out today at 135 on your bench press.
I’ll be there too. It will be nice to learn from someone other than Brad. I am just kidding Brad. You were a wonderful coach this week. Just can’t wait to learn more. Great job Hicky and Pebs on our metcon this am. Thank goodness for no CTB PU till tuesday!
Great job everyone at the 11:30 – nice to finally meet you Fred!
My quads are screaming from this week’s WODS…Mercy!
I might be biased but I can vouche for AC’s coaching.
AC is the guy who introduced me to CrossFit and he’s been an excellent coach through all of the barbell lifts, especially the squat. He is currently (and patiently) training me through Starting Strength. I find his tips are invaluable as a beginner but it sounds like even the vetrans have learned from him.
Oh, and since he won’t stop calling me “Miss Lloyd” it’s starting to catch on as my gym name.

That’s respectable. Probably what students should call their teachers.
I think we should all call GND Miss Jones 🙂
Now that he is MY teacher, I think it’s funny. Especially since I’m not even “Lloyd” anymore.
Count me in for the barbell cert!
i’ll be there on saturday for the barbell seminar too!
let’s not get carried away in coming up with nicknames for me; i think i’m all set in that department 🙂
yes you are!!!!
