  1. Great job yesterday ladies.
    I am taking the day off to rest up for the Oly Lift Cert. that Kim and I are attending this week-end.And to recover form the ass whooping my husband put on me yesterday with the WOD. Whew.Just when you think you get a good score……

  2. Arghhh… I wish I could do a muscle up! 120 pullups and dips is hard!!… And I think I can see my little heart beats in my hands now.
    It took me forever to finish this workout… I tried to get my chest to the bar on all the pull-ups and go as deep as I could on the ring dips but I still can’t pop back up on the dips 🙁

  3. So I show up this morning and Pistol (she must have it out for me) gives me a handwritten piece of paper and says, “here’s your workout – 12 Days of Christmas.” 1. 1,2. 1,2,3… you get the picture.
    Not sure what’s going on with me the last couple of days, but towards the end of “day” 10 after the 8 burpee/pullups, the room started spinning and I had to stop. Oh well – still kinda fun in a sick sorta way, though I think now I would have rather done 120 pullups and 120 dips.

  4. Spider, I know how you feel brother…I wanted to quit the “12 Days of Christmas” but Pistol wouldn’t let me. Almost met Mr. Pukie, twice. I got through the first 8 days of Christmas OK…probably 20 minutes or so…but the last 4 days of Christmas kicked my arse…took me 64 minutes, but I did finish.
    Breeze told me that I give CrossFit a bad name, supposed to be 20 minute work outs…he’s so mean…just hurtful.

    Hi-dee ho from La Jolla! Yesterday was the first day since Monday that I felt like I could move. Had to work a trade show from 7-5 so that was a workout in itself! Heading down to the gym to try to do yesterdays wod now. 12 days of Christmas in August…wrong, wrong, wrong I say! going sea kayaking in a few hours and other touristy crap.
    p.s. Bradleymuffinpeaches…be nice. You never know when we will gang up on you and give you a wedgie!!

  7. D D WOD: 6 x 20 minutes exhausting surf time dodging seaweed and jellyfish with sunscreen reapplication interspersed with periodic ingestions of organically fermented barley and hop solution. A tough one!

  8. Wow DD, sounds like fun! I’m jealous! kudos to Hoss who finished the 12 Days of Xmas that Mike G brought to Atlanta from another CrossFit! Kudos to Breeze who did 30 muscle ups in about 15 minutes.

  10. Thanks Pebbles…can I have my job back? You did awesome yesterday! I think your husband is on the juice…he’ll probably beat me on the golf course sunday. Have fun at the cert.
    Katie…the gym will be closed on Sunday. I forgot Kim is going to a certification.
